Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information Tacyon LLC (“Tacyon”, “we”, “us”) collects when you use our website and Minecraft hosting service (the “Service”), how we use it, and the choices you have. We aim to collect as little as we need to run the Service.

Information we collect

  • Account info. Your email address (we sign you in with email links and codes — we don’t store passwords), your team/organization name, and a billing email if you set one.
  • Billing info. A record of your credit, usage, and transactions. Card payments are processed by Stripe; we never receive or store your full card number — Stripe handles that and shares back only limited details (such as a payment confirmation and card brand/last four).
  • Service data. The servers, worlds, files, plugins, and settings you create or upload, plus operational metrics (CPU, RAM, player counts) and logs needed to run and support your servers.
  • Technical data. Basic information your browser and connection send (such as IP address and request logs), used for security, abuse prevention, and reliability.

How we use it

  • to provide, operate, and support the Service;
  • to bill you accurately and send receipts and important account notices;
  • to keep the Service secure and prevent fraud and abuse;
  • to improve the Service and respond to your requests.

We do not sell your personal information, and we don’t use your world data for advertising.

Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers that help us run Tacyon, and only as needed — for example Stripe (payments), Cloudflare (site delivery, security, and infrastructure), and our hosting providers for the servers themselves. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or security of Tacyon, our customers, or the public.

Retention

We keep your account and billing records for as long as your account is active and as needed to meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations. Server and world data is kept while your servers exist; when you delete a server or your account, we delete the associated data within a reasonable period, except where we’re required to retain certain records.

Your choices

You can update your email, export your server files through the dashboard, and delete your servers or account at any time. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information — email us and we’ll help. Transactional emails (receipts, security notices) are part of the Service and can’t be opted out of while you have an account.

Children

The Service isn’t directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their personal information. Users aged 13–15 must have a parent or guardian’s involvement and consent. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we’ll remove it.

Changes

We may update this policy as the Service evolves. We’ll update the date above when we do, and notify you of material changes where appropriate.
