Only pay for the
hours you play.
Your world is always there for you and your friends — and you only pay for the time you’re actually playing. No flat monthly bill for hours nobody’s online.
Always there
Your world’s saved and ready around the clock. You and your friends just open the same address and play — nothing to set up first.
Only pay to play
The hourly cost only counts the time you’re actually playing. Quiet weeks cost next to nothing — just the small base fee that keeps your world saved.
Questions
Do I pay when nobody’s playing? +
No. You only pay for the hours you’re actually playing. The rest of the time, all you pay is the small $2/month base fee that keeps your world saved and ready.
What does it actually cost? +
$2 a month per server, plus 1¢ per hour for each GB of RAM while you’re playing — and the first 100 GB·hours each month are free. A small world played a few evenings a week usually comes out to just the $2.
Is there any catch to the cheap price? +
No catch — your world is always there and your friends just hop in whenever. When your group plays casually it’s far cheaper than a flat plan; when you play almost constantly the two even out. Either way you only pay for the time you play.
What happens if my credit runs out? +
Your world stays saved — it just won’t open again until you top up. Running out of credit never deletes anything.
